   To clarify, the nouveau driver is blocked from loading (blacklisted),   
   but not uninstalled. The nvidia-gfxG*-kmp-default rpm installs file   
   /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-default.conf, which contains the single line:   
      
   blacklist nouveau   
      
   and that is all that is needed.   
      
   Or, if you install the nvidia run file instead, then it edits the line   
   in a script obtaining the same effect.   
      
      
   Where did you read, what documentation said to uninstall nouveau?
