|    kernel problem?    |
|    31 May 19 13:15:59    |
From: kant@have.it              I did an update today and as part of the process it installed the lp151.28       kernel. After the required reboot I had no video, I rebooted it rudely by       powering it off several times. Ctrl-Alt-F1 didn't work, trying to blindly       login       and force an init 0 didn't work.              I plugged in the Netinstall 15.1 disk I have and it fired right off, video was       fine.              So, when the grub screen popped up I picked some other option than the default       and found a kernel lp151.27 which is what I'm using now. I don't use snapper.              But if I reboot it'll all go to not good.              What are my options? Anybody else having this problem? Does it have anything       to do with:       sudo zypper dup       The following item is locked and will not be changed by any action:        Available:        Mesa-dri-nouveau       This was done way back when I was running the beta and the install recommended       it.              I should mention that the kernel upgrade worked fine on another computer.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
