   I don't think that CPU has a GPU.   
   I'd tend to adopt a "wait and see" approach, if the coming kernel fixes your   
   problem then there is no need to panic.   
   Medium term you have the options of using a proprietary driver or getting a   
   new card if things go pear-shaped again.  This particular problem seems to be   
   more of an Opensuse problem than Nvidia, but I have been somewhat unhappy with   
   the limitations of    
   the nouveau driver for several years now.
