   No kidding.  My German and Spanish pretty much boil down to "Eine bier bitte"   
   and "Una mas cerveza por favor".  I can get close in French and Italian also.

   speak American, but when people speak English to me I can generally follow them   
   if they speak slowly, clearly, and use small words.
