From: kant@have.it              I have:       PRETTY_NAME="openSUSE Leap 15.1"       Linux snail 4.12.14-lp151.28.36-default #1 SMP Fri Dec 6 13:50:27 UTC 2019       (8f4a495) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux              Patch's are current.              I have a Canon imageCLASS MF232w printer/scanner connected. The printer works.       I cannot get the scanner to work.              Yast seems to recognize the scanner is there and offers me:       Not Configured Language Error USB scanner (vender=0x04a9 [Language Error],       product=0x27d1 [Language Error]) at libusb:001:019       pixma Canon i-SENSYS MF230 Series at pixma:04A927D1_0199IF637C52              Scanlite will pickup the Canon i-SENSYS MF230 Series and attempt to use it.       Telling it to scan the scanner will attempt to start and then inform me that it       was Cancelled, and Close is the only option. Then it says "Select the scan       type" with the option of Computer. Selecting it, it will say "Connect the       computer."              I'm not sure where to go from here.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
