   MANY THANKS!!  I like the "cutting edge" of Tumbleweed.  I had been   
   using the System GUI when Updates exist.  This is the first time I   
   have had an issue.  I can see that I need to become better aquainted   
   with the command line applications and "zypper" in particular. . . .
