   Maybe it is hanging in mid process.   
      
   You could try this command:   
      
   systemctl hibernate   
      
   as user or as root, in a terminal. And obtain the logs. Then report a   
   bug, but not on this version, you'd have to upgrade first.

   I think someone told me how years ago, but I don't remember. Ask in the   
   mail list or the forum...   
      
   Prior to systemd, I could add a script running on hibernation and abort it.
