Barely a dozen posts       a year.              OK, thanks.              Most of the stuff I've found is for "testing". I don't want to test, I want to       detect. Speaking of testing...where does the yast firewall configuration info       get written? From what I spotted it looks like it's based on iptables, just       like all that old stuff I used to love and diddle with using vi. After       converting the ipchains stuff I had set up.              I took a quick look at nast and kismet. kismet doesn't like the WiFi adapter       and nast is a bit...bare, plus I don't speak German. So that leaves me with       snort. I still have a small pile of scripts for it that I wrote in the past.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
