   Thanks for the replies.  As to the reason...I'm looking to replace my old   
   Kindle   
   for when I travel.  They've "improved" the software and now it doesn't allow me   
   to see my bookmarks that I set in a book.  I can apparently set them, just   
   can't   
   get back to them if the book is closed.
