I travel to       my little cabin with a 2TB and a 5TB. Each having variations on a backup. The       cabin isn't that far off of pavement but there's no internet or TV service so       the 2TB has music, lots TV shows and lots movies on it. The 5TB has the music       and a complete backup of all the TV shows and movies. Plus an encrypted backup       of /home on it, just in case I get separated from it. I keep another set of       those in a little quasi-fireproof lock-box away from my abode.              When I leave town for the summer/winter I carry those same drives, and a 8TB       which has more stuff, in my carry on.              Lots of drives, lots of backups, a real need for scripts. I've created a       script, run in cron, replicating the ~/bin directory across to all the       computers       in my home networks. Got tired of needing a script on a computer and not       finding it.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
