   I posted something similar to this on the Seamonkey Newsgroup and the   
   reply was that the wrong version of Rust had been used to compile the   
   program.   
   rust 1.67.1 was used instead of rust 1.66.1.   
      
   There is a workaround in Seamonkey 2.53.16b1   
   The fix is in Seamonkey 2.53.17b1pre ("later cubeb libs")   
      
   Since I get my Seamonkey from the openSUSE repos I then asked when   
   2.53.16 was likely to be released.  The reply there (on 16 March) went   
   into some macOS issue and then "Probably in the next 1-2 weeks otherwise".
