   I've used Leap with xfce for several years and I've never noticed a delay   
   in loading Thunar after booting the machine, signing in, and clicking a   
   desktop item such as Home.   
      
   I recently got a new (refurb) desktop, about 3 years old, and am running   
   Tumbleweed on it. I noticed immediately that it takes 4-5 seconds to load   
   Thunar, before a window appears. Subsequent loads are quick. Both machines   
   are of similar power - a 12yo i7 and a 3yo i5, both with the OS on sata   
   ssds. Other programs - Firefox, Thunderbird, Pan - load just as quickly as   
   on Leap.   
      
   What might be the reason for this?
