   I have an older machine with a Ryzen 3 3200G and use it to test things   
   like this, it also serves as a backup device for selected directories   
   under /home from my main machine.   
   The only thing I *really* don't like about 16.0 is that it's unuseable   
   on that system, any further comments will have to wait until I get it going.   
   The config on that system is a bit arcane so maybe I should list the   
   non-standard stuff (including the partitioning) and do an actual   
   installation there, possibly after having made another attempt to apply   
   the update.  On the other hand, insanity is repeating the same steps   
   while expecting a different outcome.
