   Not this one, no. I don't have all the prereqs installed so I don't know if   
   it actually works or not, but I found comments here-and-there that suggest it   
   doesn't, specifically on Mint.   
      
   However. I recommend against even trying to use this. As John Hasler said, it   
   hasn't been touched in 5 years, and the most recent version is dated 20 years   
   ago (September 2004).   
      
   VLC can rip DVDs just fine. It's probably included in your distro, or else   
   can be found in its package manager. Search for "vlc rip dvd linux" and read   
   to your heart's content.
