   I recently booted a live Ub 24.04 (big fatty, over 6G .iso) off Ventoy   
   stick.   
      
   It 'automatically' recognized and embraced that Canon Pixma MP160   
   connected via USB to a WinXP desktop on the same network w/o my doing   
   *anything* except booting the Win and turning on its printer.
