   The difference is that "master" is badspeak, while "main branch"   
   is Newspeak, along with "main bedroom" and other silly constructions,   
   created solely because "master" was declared an unword throughout   
   the English language, regardless of context.   
      
   The reason to rename it the "nigger" branch is because nigger is   
   the biggest, most unwordiest unword of them all.
