   Perhaps you should ask the operator what they are using; or more   
   directly, to please stop modifying your uploads.   
      
   Alternatively migrate to a hosting service that doesn’t need an   
   intermediary to access.

   « and » are used as quotation marks in some countries; it sounds like   
   something in your operator’s workflow is applying “smart quotes” logic   
   inappropriately.
