I create to       temp mount points:              sudo mkdir /old       sudo mkdir /new              Then if the old drive is sdb and the new is sdc I mount their respective       partitions              sudo mount /dev/sdb1 /old       sudo mount /dev/sdc1 /new              Then do whatever operations I need and the paths prevent confusion. Then       unmount and remount whatever partitions I need to work on next. When       done I unnmount all and remove these temporary mount points.                     --       Take care,              Jonathan       -------------------       LITTLE WORKS STUDIO       http://www.LittleWorksStudio.com              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
