     Yes, I know. I was just describing where Daniel wants to use Windows   
   Update over his mobile phone connection, but just not now.   
      
     BTW, you can only set a connection as metered if that connection is   
   currently visible to your computer. I.e. the mobile/Wi-Fi hotspot on the   
   phone must be switched on and the computer must be connected to that   
   hotspot, only then you can see/change the 'Metered connection' setting   
   in the properties of that connection. That's different than on Android,   
   where you have a 'Manage networks' facility to manage known, but   
   unconnected, networks.   
      
     You can get around this Windows limitation by turning off 'Mobile   
   data' on the phone and then connecting to the mobile/Wi-Fi hotspot. I.e.   
   you're connected to the hotspot, so you can change its 'Metered   
   connection' setting on the Windows side, but since 'Mobile data' is off,   
   you won't be wasting any mobile data for this change is setting.
