   Those are usually FAT formatted. FAT32 or the newer exFAT. No issue   
   reformatting to NTFS though.   
      
   I've actually found NTFS on a USB SSD to be surprisingly widely   
   supported on media players and TVs and such. I've used it on Android   
   too. So NTFS has become my go-to portable FS.
