How smart does one have to be to do it?              It's not about being smart, it's in a way being the opposite.              You would need to remove the controller board that is on the HDD, this       may require a special screwdriver as some HDD manufacturers uses quite       special screws, then you need to use a milling machine to make a bit of       a space where you can place the SSD into, you need to be quite exact so       that the SSD's SATA-connector has the same position as the removed       HDD-controller board. Then you will need to glue the SSD to the metal.              If you really want to reuse the HDD, then build a NAS (just a computer       with a lot of harddrives), then have has storage that you can use to       store files.              --        //Aho              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
