   	I had that model some years back and the hard drive interface failed.   
   I got a new HP on sale then and it died in a few years so I started buying   
   used. some used very hard, Dell Latitudes after than. Then I got more   
   carefully used laptops Dell again after than which gave me greater   
   reliability.   
   Now I have a Precision as my workhorse. I got it refurbished and it looked   
   new then, not so much after a few years.
