   It’s a general issue with cryptographic systems. If you lose a key,   
   passphrase, physical token, etc then you can no longer use whatever it   
   was they protected. Sometimes that’s a risk you’re willing to take,   
   sometimes it isn’t. Personally I wouldn’t take that risk with savings   
   and investments.
