XPost: alt.windows95, alt.windows98       From: me@privacy.net              Replaced the clock battery after date and time kept resetting at every       turn-on.              Now when we boot the system, W95 just restarts before it gets completely up       and running. Over and over and over...              I see that one can put the system into "Safe Mode", but what then?              Any ideas what causes this symptom? Remedies?              No new software or hardware added prior to these symptoms.              HP Vectra; Windows 95              Thanks,       --       DaveC       me@privacy.net       This is an invalid return address       Please reply in the news group              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
