   Used 10BaseT NICs are cheap, look for an amature radio swap meet in your

   Yes, but your speed will be limited to 33.6kbps (even if you have 56k   
   modems).   
      
   Alternate routes include:   
   a null modem (or null modem cable) for connecting between serial ports.   
   (usually limited to 115kbps)   
   a Laplink cable (a special cable for connecting through parrallel ports).   
   a parrallel port cd recorder. (If you don't have a lot of data)
