|    Display problem    |

From: strimple@earthlink.net              Hi,              I have a Toshiba laptop vintage 1996 with Windows 95. I had a problem        accessing the internet and reinstalled Windows 95 from my original 28        floppy disks which corrected that problem. Now I can't get the monitor       to provide 256 colors even though before I reinstalled Windows 95       the system functioned fine with 256 colors. Now when I try to change       from 16 to 256 colors I get an error message saying my monitor will not       support this option. This forces me to go back to 16 colors - a real       lousy display. Can anyone tell me what I can do to return to 256       colors. I would certainly appreciate it.              Joe              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
