You used to have a dual-boot menu system called Grub (or possibly
Lilo) which was on the Master Boot Record (MBR) of your C: drive. When
you re-instaled Windows 95, it replaced the MBR with its own version.

You should still see the drive in BIOS, though.

Can you set your computer to boot from the SuSE instalation CD?

I had the same problem with Windows 98 and SuSE 8.2. When I tried to
re-installed SuSE 8.2 from the DVD it detected my existing
installation and offered to boot it. I accepted. From Yast2 I ran the
boot configuration tool and this put Grub back on the MBR and
   everything was back to normal.

If you need step by step instrutions, I can try and provide them.

uk.comp.os.linux would be a better place to ask.
