From: v.niekerk@freeler.nl              Hi,              Since recently most programs on my laptop crash. In Details they give a       statement that there has been an error with an invalid page. While using       Eudora 5.2, it is with COMCTL32.DLL, with other programs it's something       different.       It started when I was updating McAfee v. 5. I got a registry-fault after       which I had to remove McAfee to be able to boot Windows. I already       removed all McAfee-settings from the registry, but to no avail.       Crashing programs are (amongst other): Netscape, Firefox, McAfee (when       it was installed). Total Commander gives no problem.              Anyone an idea?              Thanks,              Huub              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
