     Hmmmm, found out that the software I want to use will actuall y run in   
   16 color mode (Railroad Tycoon, Civilization 1), so it's no big deal after all.   
   For the sake of archiving, the Cirrus Logic 4529/30/34 driver worked, but only   
   in 16 color mode, no amount of manipulation could bring on 256 colors.   
   The laptop is a Eurocom 8200, with a label on the base that states it is a   
   Primax Medianote. 486sx-33, 4M RAM.
