|    LNK files not launchable    |

From: kjfkjf@frontiernet.net              I have a windows 95 that will not launch shortcuts. If I right click       and select OPEN the files will launch correctly. This is the only way       that I have been able to launch the files. If instead I doubleclick       on most of the shortcuts they will not launch. It is like WIN95       doesn't take the second click. If I also attempt to use the windows       key|cursor control method of launching from the start button they will       not launch.              The mouse doubleclick setting has been verified to work correctly.       The mouse appears to be in good working order. SCANDISK has been run       successfully. We also attempted to reinstall WIN95 and that didn't       help the situation. I also tried to create another shortcut and that       didn't work either.              I suspect some registry setting problem but not sure which one it       would be. This all started after the computer was physically moved       from one location to another.              Suggestions?              TIA,       Kevin       --        E-mail: kevjay@attglobal.net              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
