   Is there _any_ error message or just freezing?   
      
   It is also (slightly) possible that the video card may be a problem.   
      
   I forgot to mention that some motherboards required RAM in pairs (a few in   
   quads). RAM usually needs to be matched for speed. Look at the numbers on   
   the chips, and especially numbers following a hyphen. These two or three   
   number should match, e.g., -60, -070. For more information use your   
   favorite search engine for: "refresh rate" "ns" "RAM"
