   With some new PC's it is there,but has to be made by the user.Usually   
   as some said befoer,there is a recovery partition, and usually a   
   program on the system to make the restore CD set. All else fails, give   
   teh manufatuirer a call or got to thier website and look into tech   
   support. They want to save you cost,so no CD's are provided, I think   
   it is crap too, why I don't own a store bought system.
