update problem

   When I went to Windows update page, the only one  needed was,   
   KB922770(Security Update For Microsoft Net Framework 2.0). After downloading   
   it and attempting to install it I get the message,"Updates were unable to be   
   successfully Iinstalled". This has happened every time I tried. What could   
   be the problem? thanks
