   You're quite sure about their being no write-protect? The Sony memory stick   
   that I used to have had a little tiny switch to do that...   
   If it definitly doesn't have one, I guess it is corrupted somehow. One thing   
   that sometimes works, is to put the memory stick into a different device   
   (phone/camera/PDA ...) and trying to format it with that... That is only a   
   suggestion though, and I take no responsibility if it causes you problems   
   with your phone/camera/PDA/ or whatever... !!
