|    Explorer Problem: Windows XP Pro vs. XP     |
|    04 Jan 07 01:24:01    |
From: bfritz@sprynet.com              At work I have Windows XP Pro, and Explorer shows file extensions with all       the files. Also, in the directory tree in the left pane under a folder, it       will show any zipped files in that folder. If I click on the zipped file in       the left pane, it will show all the files in the zipped file (it shows them       in the right pane). On my PC at home that I just bought, I have Windows XP       Media Edition. On this PC, Explorer does not show file extensions, nor does       it show zipped files in a folder under the directory tree on the left side.       Are these different versions of Explorer? Could I copy the version from the       Pro OS and install it on the Media Edition? Thanks alot in advance.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
