   I have used Windows Media player with XP Pro,   
   never had a problem. My daughter got an ipod for   
   Christmas, and apparently Quicktime was installed   
   with the ipod software. It has now weaseled it's   
   way into everything. I have gone into the media   
   player and checked all of the boxes, and into   
   Quicktime and unchecked them all, but it makes no   
   difference.   
   There must be some sort of global default setting   
   someplace, but where is it?
