|    USB suddenly goes pfft!    |

From: lctaht@ungo.com              I was uninstalling some old software tonight. After I completed the       uninstall, I get a "USB device not recognized" on all of my flash       drives, and the computer shows no communications with my printer.       It's like all of my USB drivers were corrupted or wiped out.              So far, I've tried a system restore to two days ago, when everything       worked., and I've scanned for virii, but no luck. My flash drives work       on my laptop, so I know they're good.              Everything worked fine up until when I removed the old software. Any       ideas on what I should do next to get this working again?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
