   Hello Everyone,   
      
   I am a first time poster here, so please forgive me if this subject has been   
   covered before.   
   Everything was fine until Saturday. Suddenly I can't delete any files at   
   all, or transfer them to other folders. The drag & drop method has stopped   
   working also. There are no virus infections or spyware on my machine. This   
   has been verified by Symantec via their remote access system.   
   I am running XP Pro with SP2.   
   All of the other functions appear to be working as expected. I am at a loss   
   what to do, short of a complete reinstall of course.   
   According to Symantec they said it was most likely to be a hardware failure   
   but I am not convinced, more likely to my logic is that its some sort of a   
   file corruption.   
   As you will have gathered by now, I am not the most technically minded   
   person in this group and hence the need for your help.
