|    Wireless USB mouse problem - can't contr    |
|    12 May 07 09:27:07    |
From: raykosXXX@optonline.net              I have two laptops (different brands) and two wireless USB mice       (different brands, one optical). Regardless of which mouse I use with       which computer, the pointer motion is sluggish.              If I go to Control Panel/Mouse/Properties/Motion tab, the slider is all       the way to the left (slow). I can left-click on the slider and drag it       to the right, but as soon as I release the left switch, the slider       returns to the left position.              If I go the the Devices tab, in the Device Information box the only item       in the pulldown window says "Pointing device on Unknown Port."              Both mice are basic models with the usual two switches and a scrolling       wheel. No fancy side switches or tilting scroll wheels. Neither came       with drivers.              If I use a wired USB mouse, the slider will remain in any position I put       it. Both laptops use XP.              Thanks for your help.              Ray              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
