The bigger issue is this: the wireless       mouse's receiver plugs into the USB port. A corded mouse also plugs into       the same USB port. Why can I adjust the motion when the corded mouse is       used, but not the wireless one? As I see it, the RF link is a substitute       for the cord, so with either mouse type the signal at the USB port       should be identical. With either mouse, on-screen movement of the       pointer is identical, except too slow (and non-adjustable) with the       wireless mouse.
