   I just installed a brand new HP Lightscribe DVD Burner as a slave (940d)   
   into my Intel based computer. Newer board as it has core duo (??)   
      
   All DVD and music CD's play poorly. Either choppy, start, stop, continue, or   
   just plain locks up.   
      
   DVD driver version 5.1.2535.0 (7/1/2001)   
      
   I have the most up to date Intel inf drivers installed (8.3.0.1013), but   
   still no luck.   
      
   The original primary generic cd/dvd (TSSTcorp) writer still plays excellent.
