   I have a small home network. Cable internet with a Speedstream router.   
   I have 6 computers connected to the router. Most are win98 (I know   
   they are old). I xp home that has the printer connected to it. The xp   
   took a hit with the virus up-date. Got it up and running but couldn't   
   see it from the other computers on the network. I had to add NetBeui   
   and all is now ok. I can see the xp box and print to it. Just using   
   tip/ip did not work. I could ping the computer and the computer could   
   access the internet, but you could not SEE the computer on the network   
   and the xp box could not see the network. Strange but Netbeui fixed   
   all that...
