   MS might have used some stuff from NT in ME, but it was still loading   
   on top of DOS, and the kernel was still a 9x kernel. Read here:

   The only thing I can see for sure (from that page) that ME has from   
   NT systems is Win2k's network stack and the on-screen keyboard.

   Using ntldr for multi-booting is a pain in the ass if you use any   
   non-DOS/Windows OS; I prefer lilo myself. (Besides, with lilo, each   
   install of Windows and DOS can have its own C: drive without changing   
   the bootable partition.)
