   Hello,   
      
   I hope, somebody can help me.   
   When I started my PC a few days ago, taskbar and all icons are missing.   
   Clicking right mouse button somewhere in the screen has no function any   
   more.   
   The only thing, I can do, is open the task manager.   
   This way I am able to open all my programs (without any problem).   
   Under "processes" in the task  manager, the is no explorer.exe any more.   
   When I try to open explorer with application/new task I get the message   
   that file is not found. Same message appears if I try to open   
   C:\windows\explorer.exe   
   Also when I open windows in protected mode I get the same effect.   
   I also overwrote explorer.exe with same file from another PC --> no   
   change...
