Still here, my program was compiled to an exe file with QB45, it also
called a bat file to backup my information to floppy and the second
drive just in case of a crash, this also stopped working.

However.........I've got it working again, I messed about with some of
the properties and it's now back to normal, pity I can't remember how I
did it, the bat file uses xcopy so I put a copy in the accounts folder
and that now works so I con only assume my path statement has been
   altered somehow.

Thanks for the info in the bit I've snipped, I did try an old copy of
Visual Basic I had hanging around but couldn't get my head round it,
I'll try your idea in case this happens again, thanks.
