   You may create system restore point before applying this "fix".   
   First of all run CMD and stop two services using the following commands:   
   net stop wuauserv   
   net stop cryptsvc   
   Next go to Windows folder and delete everything inside folders   
   Windows\SoftwareDistribution and Windows\System32\CatRoot2.   
   After that go to CMD and start services again:   
   net start wuauserv   
   net start cryptsvc   
      
   Sometimes it works. ;-)
