From: alfredo_fernandez@cox.net              I have the following problem:              Windows XP could not start because the following file is missing or       corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM              I have 4 computers but they are all OEM with no windows startup cd and       they don't have diskette drives. The startup diskettes that I have are       too old. So is there anyway to create a windows xp startup cd ? I see       the following procedure http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307545/en-us       but I can't execute it w/out a startup cd. I also see that microsoft       provides a way to create startup diskettes but that doesn't help since       I don't have a diskette drive on the working computers.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
