   I think that Reiser's defense is trying to claim that his wife was somehow   
   connected to the Russian mob. I don't recall reading any proof of this but I   
   think that's what they're trying to claim. From the videos I saw on TV about   
   a month ago, she (a doctor) didn't seem like the type to smuggle herself in   
   some Russian freighter in the middle of the night. Seems that she could have   
   had a pretty good life here if she wanted to.
