From: ang.usenet@gmail.com              Hi,              I did a IE Windows Update before installing SP2 and then stopped it just       after installing the first ActiveX control, then installed SP2, but now it       gets stuck where it says :-              checking if your computer has the latest version of windows updating       software for use with the website......              the website use activeX controls to determine which version of the software       your computer is runing. if u see an ActiveX warning, make surethe control       is digitally signed by microsoft before installing it or allowing it to run              But the "Tools"->"Manage Addons" option is not bringing up the dialog to       allow me to delete the WU control.              Help,              Aaron              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
