From: lupine@pack.c0m              I'm working on a friend's computer. It's a Dell inspiron 1720 notebook, and       the guy decided to get       rid of Vista, and put XP on the machine instead. I have the machine with me,       and I need to try to       have the OS back on the machine my tomorrow morning.              When I start a Win XP Pro install, I get this error:              Setup did not find anyhHard disk drives installed on your computer.              Setup cannot continue.              The guy wiped the drive completely with Active KillDisk.              Can anyone give a pointer to the right direction? I'vee run partition magic,       and it says that       there's an NTFS partition on the drive.              Clueless here...       --       L.P.              My Blog - Updated on a (somewhat) regular basis:              http://lupinepredator.wordpress.com/       -----------------------------------       My Website - Spirit of the Winds:              http://spiritofthewinds.byethost22.com/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
